Where do I belong?
The thought leaves me baffled,
Like an empty space between right and wrong,
my spirit is gravely tangled.

I am a lone heart that weeps all night ,
The despair within my voice,
The lost nomad without any pride,
A refugee without any choice.

I am a dry, barren land that burns all day,
An abandoned soul for years,
My identity lost in the play,
Along with my uncontrollable tears.

Tell me this, O sweet & honest friend,
Whatever is the reality,
Shall I go on, or accept this as my end?
Am I one of you or it’s just my fantasy?

I long for a place to call my home,
A place where I can spread my wings,
A place that I can call my own,
And become a bird that always sings
