The audience rose when a young lady stepped into the auditorium. Clad in a simple dress, she smiled at the young students. The dean led her to the dias. Usually, the students were reluctant to pay attention to speeches, but, today, the ambience was different. "Good morning students! I would like to share a story with you guys." she said. Her friendly behaviour garnered the attention of everyone in the room. " Let me start now. There was a girl who was all of 5 years old. One afternoon, she sneaked into her parents' room. She found a doctor's aprin lying in her Mother's closet. She tried it on and looked into the mirror. She was fascinated by what she saw. "I want to be a doctor, just like Mom, someday." she silently thought. Her seemed perfect, or so, she thought. Once in a while, she heard her Dad comforting her Mom. Little did she know, that her Mom was suffering from depression. Her Dad, being a doctor himself, arranged appointments with the psychiatrist to help his dear wife. But, alas, nothing could save her. She had lost hope and succumbed to a disease. Soon, she passed away. After his wife 's death, the father took care of his daughter, all by himself.(Continued in caption)
