The leaves fell as if mocking her of her incapablility
An autumn came.
Brown. Dull. Devoid of fertility.

Helplessly tried to paint them all green
Stuck lifeless paper flowers on each branch
recreating faint memories of spring

She had planted, watered and sang for the bees
Waited, oh she had waited for it to bloom
Praying to every God on her knees

Eyes closed, relief washed over as it smelled of the spring
Heavens poured, told her she had nothing to lose
perfume it was. The very one, she had been wearing.

She smiled with tears, finally her red rose.
Oh how blissfully unaware she was
of the blue pill she had chose.

I wonder when I run to the roof to dance in the pouring rain
Would you come for me with a towel or dance alongside me?

Today you again disturbed my sleep, came to slightly nudge the feelings I've hidden away in some dark alley.

Can we really trust someone, to show each n every flaw, the rawest version of you without an ounce of little white lies... People lie, people fake and for good reasons,
everyone puts on this mask of "being okay" and somehow that's how this world is running.
can you bare your soul to anyone...?
Can you, really?


Everybody wants to..
but can you live up to be that person on the other side?
can you not judge when you see someone for who they really are?
Can you keep your promises, can you be there for someone when he or she really needs you.
Can you promise a forever and actually be there, forever?
What if they hurt you? People hurt.
Always. Ok, mostly.

It is always easier to hide, to show the best part of you..the sorted part. No one wants to look at the struggles, the sleepless nights, the self doubts, the breakdowns. No one likes a weak person. And there are people, usually the ones you trust the most, who uses your weakness against you.
What do you do then??!

this world is difficult enough.

Relationships, aren't easy.
They take effort, compromises, communication, commitment, honesty, faith, trust
...but that one thing makes it worth it all, day after day..is love.

Everyone deserves a partner who they honestly love, truly desire someone who reciprocates with the same intentions and intensity. No force, coercion.
Something, natural.

And each time this world feels too harsh, the days too long and nights scary..each time you are drowning.. just lean on them and their beautiful eyes to save you.

Imagine..someone looking at you, and finding their whole world.

The one whom you introduce to all your friends and family. The one who you want to be ghosties with and scare people forever together. The one you try every new and crazy dish with, the one who is your go to person for all the stupid things. The one who understands your love for roadside kulfi or hate for strawberry ice-cream. Surprises you by tolerating your mood swings with a genuine smile. The one you call at 2 am when you feel broken, the one you text at 11 pm to pick you from outside a crazy bar nightout with friends, the one you will invite to a boring wedding party. The one who helps you fight your demons, the one who holds your hand during a fight with mom, or the one who gives you hope after a bad test paper. The one who never ever stops believing in you, the one who never gives up on you and the one who will let you fly to the sky while still making sure you have a safe spot on the ground.

May be a family, a friend or a love, maybe a girl a boy.

There should be one person in everyone's life who knows all our secrets like each one of them and still love us the same..the one who not only is brutally honest in pointing out our flaws but also helps us to overcome them. The one who makes us a better person everyday. Infront of whom we don't think twice about blurting out truth. The only one who will travel miles for us. The one who will laugh at our possesiveness towards them and then be as much possessive about us. The one with whom, you will share your kinky thoughts and wet dreams with. The one who shall leave all their plans aside if needed...to be there for you. The one who make sacrifices seem easy, worth it. Someone with whom petty jealousy doesn't count. The one who shall stay up late at night... at your nightout, calling thrice to be safe. The one who shall punch a guy square in the face if he hurts you or your feelings. The one who's always up for an outing, anywhere as long as it's with you.
