I dreamt of you last night. So vivid - I didn't want get up.

It almost felt like a parallel universe. Your skin against mine. Friendly banter. Eyes locked, thoughts entwine. You still acted ridiculous, your hand in mine. Warm hugs and promises. It all felt so real. Your caramel eyes and gorgeous smile, your tender voice still ringing in my head.

I awake. You were always an unfulfilled dream, a missed chance at love. Maybe one day, you'll jump out of that dream dashboard. Or maybe, you're dreaming of me too...

Love is truly a many splendored thing! This year, commit to loving yourself and your family and friends. Be there, show up and support those who have been there for you! True love is all-encompassing and unconditional. So don't reserve love for a lover - share your love with all those around you because that's what the world needs the most today! What 2021 taught me:

Everything I've gone through has made me who I am
Who knew our memories would be so powerful?

Sometimes, after it's all said and done, we see people in a different light. It's sad to see them pretend that their lives are okay - when in reality, you can sense the truth. We see them transform into someone else, or maybe, they finally reveal their true colors. The fact remains that if they want you in their life, they'd do something about it. And trust me, it's better to be alone than chase a friendship that will hit a brick wall.

Sometimes it hurts to let a friendship go. Sometimes those that mean the world to us, ask for space and eventually, fade away.

It's normal to miss them and wonder how they are, and reminisce on the times spent together. It's normal to have your heart ache over such a loss, because ultimately, people mean a lot to us, right?

Sometimes we hold out for that hope that they'll return. You'll get closure and know why things happened the way they did. But if that doesn't happen, know that that is the plan for your life and that we all have to trust our journeys, and trust that everything that happens, is always for our good...
