A bird soars with freedom, keen eyes scanning the world from above, while a mouse scurries with caution, attuned to the smallest details of the earth below.
The bird in me values the expanse of the sky, the ability to rise above earthly constraints, and the broad view that reveals patterns unseen from the ground.
Flight offers liberation, but it can distance me from the intimate textures of life. The mouse in me, however, thrives in the shadows, navigating tight spaces with agility and resourcefulness.
This grounded existence fosters a deep connection to the immediate, though it risks being consumed by predators or trapped in narrow confines.
I choose to embrace both, not as a contradiction, but as a harmonious duality. By day, I am the bird, surveying the world with clarity and perspective, using my wings to explore and dream.
By night, I am the mouse, delving into the details, gathering what sustains me, and honing my instincts.
Neither is superior; each completes the other. To live as both is to understand the world from above and below, balancing vision with vigilance, freedom with focus.
