The Inkless Wand
Once, he was coronated as "The Magician Of Words",
and his pen would mutate into a wand everytime
he would lift it thereby, bleeding his wizardry.
His pen used to swim through the perils of
Love, Life, Truth, Emotion & lastly Death,
analogous to a perennial brook's tenacity.
He wrote on and on and on until one day,
when he found his wand decaying like a dead worm
and his charm grasped by the wrinkles of tiredness.
He resorted to solitude hoping it would
give a new life to the wizard in him.
Instead, this time the wand was heavier
crushing through his fingers as though
he was lifting the mother earth, but
the most disheartening scene was that of
the paper which was burnt with the tears
of conviction to the long lost Wizard!!

A lifetime of love
While her eyes were sewn
with the needle of his love,
His ears were shackled with the
brimming ballads of her affection.
While her soul used to alleviate
every time his heart beat,
His heart would halt until an
approval of her surmounting existence.
While the sole wish of her life
was to see him perspire to greatness,
His only desire was to succumb to death
in the arms of her undying love,
Together Maybe!!

One was burnt by the day's brightness
The other was buried under the night's darkness!!

In a life butchered and weighed down by
the swords and spears of failure
chopping and gashing through
his guts of morale and self belief,
the only respite would be all those instances
where he could ignite her smile on any sultry day!!

When their lips touched for the first time,
She: Let me breathe na.
He: I wish I could
but your lips are damn delicious!!

With all excitement, she dials his number
He(Rudely): Why did you call me now?
I had texted you na
that I'll call in the evening.
She: Oh! I'm sorry. (Hangs up)
And yet again she accepted
his anger over her desire!!

Years had gone by since they parted,
Yet he had her every letter
to embrace the love in every word,
Yet she had his torn T-shirts
to feel his warmth somewhere within!!

The mother is named
a whore, slut and a bitch
thereby dimming the
family's stature in society.
The son is honored with titles
such as a bastard and bad blood
born out of an unethical bond.
But the father,
Why isn't he named anything!!
