(The day before semester exam in the college hostel)

Me: "Hey Sur, what's up? "
Sur: "Don't you know, we have our sem exam
starting from tomorrow."
Me: "Oh really, I was busy with my series and missed
to notice the bulletin board nor the university portal."
Sur: "Oh no, how can you forget this?"
Me: " It's just an exam, we have still time to wrap
our brain with the syllabus... So don't worry dear."
Sur: "Yup, this positive vibes of you makes me to believe
that we can do it in seconds."
Me: "Enough, enough... Now tell me what's the
exam tomorrow and give me the syllabus."
Sur: "It's DSP and we don't have even good internal scores
for it as we have bunked those classes often."
Me: "No worries, Sur. We can manage and somehow
clear that 'Degree Stopping Paper' and get our degree
in first attempt.
(Meanwhile, Re friend from other room, enters here)
Re: "Girls, new series has got released."
Me: "Wow, let's watch it now and later start our studies."
Sur: "Yes, we can enjoy watching it and we will do a
night out."
Me: (After watching the series) "Guys, better we will
sleep now and let us wake early and read only the
important topics and pass the exam."

The show must go on and yes it will go on for sure,
but now that you will be gone
perhaps that green tea won't taste the same anymore
Perhaps I won't be folding that blanket lying beside mine anymore
perhaps my alarm clock won't ring at 7;30 am for anyone anymore
perhaps I won't be shouting after anyone to wake up and go at 7:45am anymore.
perhaps there will be no one to happily fall prey to my tricks of getting into a midnight conversation
Or perhaps I won't feel like playing such tricks on anyone anymore
Perhaps this room will go all dark once again once more
because somewhere I know as soon as your enligtened soul will take an exit the lights will also go
but then souls like you are rare to find
with a unique purpose you are designed
not just this room but this whole damn world needs you to spread light
this is the task for which souls like you are destined.

All the four were different.
Only similarity was, they all were away from their families for the first time.
No one liked each other.
But the time played a game....,,,,,
Now they weren't just friends or roommates....
They became a family,
They are soul sisters❤ :-)

Like a total stranger she entered into my Life.
First sight of her made me wonder
How it would be to spend time together.
We had nothing in common initially.
A bag full of earrings contradicted my 6 strings.
She being insomniac compared to my peaceful sound sleeps.

Never had I met a girl who didn't keep her place clean.
Often forgets to have medicines.
And gets frustrated over little things.
But manages somehow
To look gorgeous and elegant everyday.

Days passed by and I realised
I actually liked her company
We had similar interests in music
And I loved to watch her dance.

My loneliness fades when I open up to her.
Her absence sometimes puts me in fear.

It's my first experience.
Same goes for her too.
Filled with both sweet and bitter days
We have learned to live life with a totally different being...
And today on her demand
I finally have a little piece for her:
Roommates- Let's give our bond a new meaning.
