My dear daughter,
Be humble, be kind, be thankful, seldom whine.
Desire less, devote more, for his smile, every task endure.
Explore the world and travel every shore, but to welcome him, be at the door.
Be his calm, be his peace, in his agony, bring him ease.
Be his strength, stand by his side, accept his flaws, in him take pride.
Love his loved ones, like your own, with their blessings, adorn your home.
Dear son in law,
My daughter is not perfect nor is she flawed, shower her with love and she's easily awed.
There'll be days, when she'll be upset, don't you worry, don't you fret.
She must be due, with her monthly guest, buy her chocolate and give her some rest.
That twinkle in her eye, warms my heart, I long for her company, when we are apart.
We taunt, we argue, we quarrel, we shout, we hug eachother, and cry our gut out.
Now my bestfriend, loves you too, and it hurts me, to share her with you.
Love, respect and loyalty, is what I ask, for my daughter, till she breathes her last.
