After The Scorch

Stood by the window,
I watched the rain pouring.
Raindrops trickled down the windowpane,
Birds taking shelter under the tree leaves,
Frogs croaking down the drain,
The ponds overflowing,
Roads looking like rivers flowing down,
Trees dancing with the wind,
The smell of wet earth rising,
Thunder rumbling in the distance.

People soaked in rain, walking down the flooded roads.
I sighed with relief as the weather turned cool
after the long months of scorching sun.

Stood on the roadside,
Till dusk from dawn,
Unable to comprehend what happened to my life.

Deserted by my parents,
Insulted by my love,
On a journey to nowhere, never to return.

Beauty comes and beauty goes,
There's nothing wrong with you growing old
What lies within- is the truest grace-
Lives on forever, time can't erase.

You see those fine lines,
The wrinkled skin, the silver shine.
And feel you're not attractive anymore-
Your joints ache, your body's sore.
You're getting tired too easily-
It's time you take a little break.

Your eyesight's fading,
And your muscles' weak.
You are gaining weight,
Maybe watch what you eat.

You feel the sun is setting soon,
Your confidence fades, your glow grows dull.
Your wisdom blooms, while your outer beauty fades,
Your inner beauty is something no one can take.

She Who Walks Alone

Darkest are the nights,
And so are the ghouls,
Dancing round and round,
As I walk a lonely road.

Little do they know who I am
Yet dare to play around me -
Dangerous are the forces
Behind these brown eyes.

They make a move,
My eyes blinked twice-
Burned into flames,
Their dark souls decline.

The Angel's Fairy

He lit up the world with his brilliant smile
Opened up his huge heart to the human world
Unaware of human's evil nature,
He gave away everything until he had nothing left.
He sat there still, asking himself, why this happened to him?
And then came a young maidan, and smiled at him.
She led out a hand to him for friendship.
He looked up at her, confused.
Who is she? Has she come to devour him like everyone else?
Not getting any response, she sat down beside.
And touched his hand, and said, "I understand".
He felt a sudden calmness surround him in an instant.
He at once hugged her and cried his heart out.
He had been in pain for years,
And it was now time to get it all out of his heavy heart.
He cried and cried until his heart was as light as a feather.
And then looked at her and asked, "Will you be my partner for life?"
She smiled back at him with assurance.
And put a kiss on his forehead like a mother to her child.

The Man of my Dreams

Every night I made a wish for the man of my dreams to come to life.
A man who is worthy of me.
Simple natured.
The one that walks the right path,
And always stands by the truth.
The one with a heart of gold,
Hardworking and soft.
And finally the sky has answered my prayers
And he is right infront of my eyes today.
Am i dreaming?
Or did he really born out of my prayers?
