Dear long lost parasitic friend,

Your uninvited likes on my public posts made me remember it's the seven month anniversary of the thought that made me abandon you. I'm the adventure that takes you to places but also the voice which calls you back home. I'm the warmth of your favourite childhood memory and I contain the tremors of your biggest nightmares. I'm not someone who'd love you at your best, but maybe at your worst. I'm not your high, but the one who lifts you up in your lows. Who holds your hand when times get tough and lies in your lap when I feel uneasy. For everytime I fall in love, my heart thumps stay, stay, stay. I demand eternal love and affection and not everyone's cup can hold my strong flavoured tea.
