Let me be me when I seek solitude more than your presence.

The only genuine answer to,
'what you want to become once you grow up'
is

My first birthday cake.
Birthday celebration was never a thing at my home. No one wished me at my home. It was like any other day; but for me, who had seen friends distributing sweets on their birthdays, in school, wished the same. So on my eleventh birthday, I somehow managed to convince my mother into buying sweets for me, so that I could distribute it, to my friends and classmates. It was unprecedented.
The following year, nothing special happened but I made sure I didn't cry, for whatsoever reason, for I had somehow come to know that people should not cry on their birthdays and I made that my sole resolution for my birthday. No tears!
Uff! Those childish stuffs.
Before my 13th birthday, I was invited to one of my neighborhood friend's birthday. I saw something unusual being cut , cake it was. She fed everyone present. After, having the cake I asked her, where did she got the cake from." I baked it" was the answer, follwed by the recipe.
Back home, the only thing I knew was, I wanted the same cake and I was ready to accept the challenge of baking it. I wanted to celebrate my birthday, invite my friends and receive gifts from them. I wanted it, very very badly.

from , 'chairman' to 'chairperson',
we need a societal rectification,
not a grammatical one.
