A writing without a story is as worse as a bland fleshless watermelon. One can't make it out, unless deeply cut. Readers go deeper to the body of the write-up to receive sheer disappointment.

You might have heard about metaphors and similes. Even confused one for the other. These figures of speech are very similar in their structure, but, serve different purposes. For example, a simile is 'My life is like a messy cupboard'. While a metaphor is 'My life is a messy cupboard'.

ZONE GYAN

We often slip into the clutches of adjectivated and adverbed sentences. We find them alluring. But, what if I say, we find them like a swamp with lotuses. The swamp indicating adjectives and adverbs. The lotuses symbolising the nouns and verbs. In the above explanation, which one was effective- The word 'alluring' or the metophorical description that followed? Now, you might have understood to an extent the power of verbs and nouns, of names and their actions. This is how a write-up makes the reader hooked throughout.
