to form strings, weaved
together to make fabrics
embroidered with emotion
carefully crafted to have
one's heart feel lighter

Like jungle
are those jingles
that earned brownie points
for hiding you
between rings of idioms!

When I read and if the eloquence of text ebullients my heart and rejuventate my emotions, I know that is poetry !!::.::!!

what it sets out to be -
a single yarn between sure fingers.
Don't be surprised
if you end up with a sweater.

I did not know what to say, my mouth
had no way
with names,
my eyes were blind,
and something started in my soul,
fever or forgotten wings,
and I made my own way,
deciphering
that fire,
and I wrote the first faint line,
faint, without substance, pure
nonsense,
pure wisdom
of someone who knows nothing,
