चाहत क्या रखूँ मैं दुनियाँ से,

मैं भरोसा भी करूँ तो किसपे,

भरा है मन अहंकार से लबालब,
न जाने गिरे कौन-कैसे कहाँ पर...।
कल की सोच कर चलने वाले,
उठ जमीं से उड़ रहे हैं रुपयों के जहाज पर।

एक गिरिधर ही तो है,
जिसे रुपयों से कोई मोह नहीं।
वर्ना इस संसांर में तो,
माया सबको मोह रही।

मेरे मन में बढ़े प्रश्न उठ रहे,
क्या है सार संसार का?
है मोल यहाँ कुछ प्रेम का भी,
या है अभिमान केवल नाम का?
