Down the memory lane,at the break of twilight
my heart likes to hunt down, those memories i look upon.
For hard lessons of life,for many beautiful snippets,
of my short lived unworthy existence
Those which bring tears, of joy, grief, regret, ectasy.
something only making me bold & stronger
Down the memory lane, at the break of twilight.
My mind hunt for ideas, of nature, life n my family.
Something to cheer upon, something to reflect over upon.
Those days of carelessness, full of zeal & fun with friends,
when we used to explode with pranks and a true smile.
When everything seemed possible but way distant,
Naughty but determined eyes to look out for,
Now just gaze to days to come, of responsibilities
Dreams to be lived, bloody income to work for,
Some new memories to make and
Places thought of, to be visited
New friendships to be forged
New ventures to look out for and
to leave behind a legacy which
shall never ever be broken down.

As I was walking down the lane, I wished to go back in my life and reminisce the good old days. It was then I realized that life doesn't come with a rewind button.
