she agrees or disagrees. But nowadays,

a lazy afternoon, the clouds hanging low
winds swaying in and out through the arms
of bright green avenues of Saraca and palms
the dark pink of Bougainvillea liana
creeping along the fence
a hundred birds sing in harmony
all but the drumbeat of monotony
such vibrance outside now bothers me inside
months on end within walls of a structure
imprisoned body or imprisoned mind
which leads to which?
uneasy hours of a well-fed day drop slow
into the steady rivers of time
I accept day, I welcome night
where's the boundary separating the two?
where should I draw the line?
I wait—
this waiting takes us nowhere
heavy, I lose balance
heavy, I sink into the bed
heavy, I wait

Where i feel 1 minute as 1 hour.

Where I'm left with my fake smile.

Where I'm on bed at bed time but no sleep.

Where my eyes started rainings at mid nights.

Where my daily nature becomes uneasy & sadness.
