I am the horizon
between the daylight and
the night.
Yes, this is my pride.
And as I sit under the tree, waiting

I discover
the colours appear

Transformation

Days back when I was the caterpillar
On the growing stage of
How to be the butterfly
How to flutter wings in the free air
There came many stages
Who taught me how to fly
Some were tough
Some were easygoing
But everytime a new lesson
Like the word Cline
Every step I put forward
Is the result of the left footprints
Which taught me
U don't have to look back
While you r stepping ahead
U never know
What's the new obstacle
God has put forward
In ur journey
But with a sense of conscience
And being conscious of urself
U have to deal with the upcoming
Chapter with the opening eyes
Remembering the lessons
And mistakes u have made
And what u have learnt from them
I m still changing like the seasons
I m still learning to be flying..

WATER

My grandfather cherished the rivers,
My father celebrated the tanks,
I suffice with the buckets.

My son will worship the bottles and
My grandson will spot that in pictures?

Since I was 3 feet tall and a bit too small, I built a cocoon around me, for me; a really comfortable cocoon where I was self-sufficient, self-reliant, and enough. I survived in words, thrived in silence. Not needing more, not wanting more. Soon comfort transformed to complacency and years passed me by.
Then one day I became a mother. A mother to the most lovely little baby girl, who is 10 years old now.
She survives in words and thrives in silence too and she, too, like her mamma, loves her cocoon. But my girl need not be in her shell, need not hide her spirit, need not shy away from shine, need not be afraid of flying...
So this mamma is ready to come out and be a butterfly now, for her girl and for herself....
And this mamma butterfly now proudly flutters around in Your Quote in hope to give and receive love, in hope to appreciate and be appreciated, in hope to learn, grow, and fly higher. 🙏
