বস্তির ত্রিপল দলছুট, কালো মুখে গোমড়াপনা।
উঁচু উঁচু টাওয়ার নিশাচর পেঁচা
রাতভর পরখ করে অনৈতিকতার ক্রমবর্ধমান খাঁচা!

তোমাকে ভালোবাসার জন্যে যতোটুকু মন দরকার তা নেই আমার,
কারণ হৃদয়টা আজ অগোছালো ও বিবর্ণ,
তবুও এই রাতের নিষিদ্ধ নগরীতে গায়ে হলুদ ল্যাম্পপোস্ট জড়িয়ে নিজেকে খুঁজছি,
যাকে সাড়ে সাতান্ন লক্ষ বছর আগে তোমাতে হারিয়েছি!
