I nurture those sonnets and musings of love
On my rental womb,
They are alluring yet tantalizing,
Since they smell of a thing
I can't call "mine"

If words had wings, they would fly
In search of you, in daylight, and in night.
Though the highest of mountains,
And the longest of brooks.
Across the biggest of oceans,
In the looming dark and the glaring light.

Like us- they too would be born,
To find their destiny, and
To learn the meaning to their flight.
They too would seek to reunite
With their maker. And thus would
Scour for you, as their birthright.

For I am but their surrogate mother.
It's your pregnant memories that
Blesses them with Life.

Her eyes
Sinful to look upon
Yet unrighteous to look away
With orbs of divinity
Bathing in stardust
Utterly beyond human standards
Deep as an old forest
One could wander in them for hours
A cluster of falling stars
That couldnt hold themselves up anymore
With stare fiercely soft
Like a lioness toying with her meal
A surrogate to the moon
On a no moon night
Earth's damn lucky day
As it gets not one but
Two of those sparkling silver crackers

Through some surrogate silences,
you calmed the storm between us.

And before you knew,
it became way too silent for your own comfort.

The only surrogate for hard work is failure. So if you don't want to hug hard work, then be prepared to kiss failure...

Her nonchalance was vicious - worse than hate,
My heart was used up as a mere surrogate;
The Babe of Love blossomed as a femme fatale,
And left to wilderness the very womb royale!
