what i wish to do is
roam the city at night
looking at the stars
and empty roads
just wondering
about the hustle and bustle
that will ensue the next morning.
think about the stories
of the people sleeping
inside those buildings
that i pass by, walking.
the sounds of cricket chirping
that orangish street light
the stars above
And the stories around.

but you know
i would like a partner
to walk with me.
i do not mind being alone
but you know
this beauty of a city
can be cherished even more
when it is shared.
