Extinguished stood the ember;
The feelings, fire and desire,
Lost Love and life haywire.
Time too took a heavy toll,
All tides, she did recall;
And the cold shivering stars,
Left alone, the hollow Moon - so far.
The howl of the vicious winds,
The spoils of celestial minds;
Two hearts a world apart,
And the soul's singed, awful art.
Do I still really remember,
Or the mind too in cold December!
