Television soaps and movies show some false things ie a few things that don't even exist in reality. In fact, those have now become fantasies without any magic or practical thinking. Don't connect those with realities. Think practical and move with the flow.

I may be wrong, but after watching only a few episodes of the Saas-Bahu" serials (mostly Bangla) I have come to the following realization ~
The women who voice the feminist views are labeled as "Bad" and those who adhere to the patriarchal notions of femininity are labeled as "Good" (ideal wives!)
And who are the main audience of these serials? You guessed it, the WOMEN FOLK! What a subtle way to instill patriarchal views... BRAVO!-
