मुमकिन नहीं है तुम्हारे साथ रह पाना
बर्दाश्त भी नहीं है तुमसे जुदा हो जाना
ऐसा कोई बीच का रास्ता है क्या ??


जब मेरी यादों की तरंगें तुम तक पहुँचे
तब तुम्हारी हिचकियों पे कोई तंज़ न हो

फ़िर मैं तुम्हारा नाम न लेकर
पगली कहकर तुम्हें बुलाऊँ

और तुम भी वही पुराना नाम
धीमी आवाज़ में बुद्बुदाओ

ऐसा कोई बीच का रास्ता है क्या ??

My mom planted some chilies today in her tiny fenced garden. I watched her as she trusted those little saplings to earth and watering them one by one. Whereas I sat under the peach tree soothed by walnut-sized peaches,contemplating on how chilies were popular on this land. Even our national dish is 'ema datshi', which is a curry made of chilies (ema) and local cheese (datshi). Then, I related this chili to my dreams. To have a dream is like planting chilies, it's given birth. To work on your dream, is nurturing it to it's splendor. At last, to harvest and turn it into a dish is giving a reality to it.

നിൻ നെടുവീർപ്പുകൾ
ഞാനറിഞ്ഞതില്ല
ചിരിയിലൊതുക്കിയ
ജീവിതച്ചൂളതൻ
നൊമ്പരങ്ങളും
ഞാനറിഞ്ഞതില്ല
ജ്വലിച്ച മിഴിയിൽ
ഒളിപ്പിച്ച വ്യഥയിൽ
കണ്ടതു ധാർഷ്ട്യം -
ജീവിതത്തോടുള്ളൊരാ
നിശ്ചയദാർഢ്യം.
