She got up from her bed and tied her hair in a messy bun. The morning air reminded her of the numerous choices ahead. Her breath stank of yesterday's sin but the thin line between reality and life faded with it. A strange voice whispered in her head blurring the already faded line. It told her to keep going but she replied she couldn't find her strength. She slowly went towards the mirror and saw her face. The fragile reflection smiled sheepishly at her. She smiled back as if her reply mattered in a world which never clamored for her words. She traced the bruises on her face with her hand. The visible bruises reminded her of the gifts from her ex-lovers, the invisible ones reminded her of the gifts from the forgotten world. She thought about all the times her dreams were broken like she was now, those dreams lost in her desire to survive. Suddenly her dry mouth reminded her of an existence whose meaning she couldn't comprehend. She knew no amount of drowning in other's love could quench that. She walked towards the closet and opened it. A host of someone's dresses greeted her. So many of them but like all her choices they were just a mask to hide herself from the world.

Ki mai guljar bhi ban jau,
Koi jahan me to utaare.

"And from now they will live happily ever after",
the graveyards of the two lovers whispered !

Next morning, she woke up with all new energy & freshness after having last teary night.

That frustrated & depressed soul, but who cares? Parents are a bit emotionless, siblings have their own lives & a loved one is busy with his friends. Last night, her mind & heart had refused to sleep. Tears weren't obeying her order, they just had kept coming out of her eyes. There was a battle between sleep & tears. Sleep wanted to rest, other side tears didn't want to do. That was how they became substitute for each other. Meanwhile she was suffering from heavy depression & loneliness. At last she overcame her pain for a time & made her sleep & tears parleyed. That way they became complementary for each other.

This is how she has always handled herself.
