দংশনের প্রতিটা আমন্ত্রণে খুব সাজিয়ে নিজেকে
যেভাবে দেবদারুটা সাজে সরীসৃপের কবলে,
ছুটে যেও বারবার বুকের গর্তে মিথ্যে মেখে
এঁকে দেখো মৃত্যুর স্বাদ শতবার চেনা ছোবলে।

পারলে কখনও ছুঁয়ে দেখো বিষধর কোনো ঠান্ডা শরীর
প্রতিটা গোপন ভাঁজে লুকোনো অতীত খুঁজে পাবে,
নীল নাকি যন্ত্রণার নাম শুকনো ক্ষতদের ভিড়ে
ব্যথা নিয়ে সুখে থেকো অসুখের লোকসান-লাভে।

বিস্ফোট জমেছে খুব স্ফুলিঙ্গের অনাত্মীয় চিৎকারে
আকাশ ভরা মেঘ তবু গলনাঙ্কের দেবতা নারাজ,
একে একে সবাই মিলে ভুল বানানের কড়া নাড়ে
এক পালকি খিদে নিয়ে বাঁচিয়ে রেখো ফাঁকাওয়াজ।
