मैंने सहेज के रखा है तेरी यादों को,
हर रोज़ अपने ज़हन में दोहराती हूं तेरी उन्हीं बातों को,
वो जुनून और दीवानगी जो कभी महसूस की थी मैंने,
अब चाह कर भी भूल ना पाती हूं उन एहसासों को...

We will never know how much someone remembers us and misses us.

They may be tearing up somewhere afar or their hearts may be choking up thinking about us and we will be oblivious to such love.

जिसे देखे बिना एक पल नहीं गुजरते थे,
अब उसे देखे बिना साल गुजर रहे हैं,

जिसकी एक हंसी होटो पर मुस्कुराहट ले आती थी,
आज उसकी हंसी के बिना भी हम हंस रहे हैं।

अोये सुन! ये मेरे पायल की खन-खन की आवाज़ ही करती है मुझे रू-ब-रू तुझसे।😍
आँखें शोर करती है यार, वो दिन, तू कभी करता था मुझसे इश़्क की फ़रियाद मुझसे।😔

याद तेरि जब आती है
तकिया लेके सोते है,
बात जब नहीं हो पाती है
बच्चों की तरह रोते हैं।

ये आखें भी मेरी हरवक्त
तुझको देखना चाहती है,
पर तुझको देखने के लिए
रब का भी इजाजत जरूरी है।

रात में जब सोने जाता हूँ
ख्वाबों में एक तूझे हि पाता हूँ,
में भी कितना पागल हूँ
एक तुझपे ही जान लुटाती हूँ।

मिलने को तुझको तरसते हैं
पर मील भी नहीं पाते हैं,
खोये खोये से रहते हैं
ख्यालों में तूझे हि पाते हैं।

but we discover happiness somewhere,
and knot the free ends of sunshine
into an eternal force of a lifeline.

We learn to be in moments that matter
and let go of others like a forgotten chapter.
We learn to win, we learn to surrender,
yet we preserve only smiles to remember.
