If the god of human teaches his
people to hate their fellow beings.

Let me find the god of fellow mortals
to worship integrity.

मंदिरों की घंटीयो से मस्जिदों की अजान तक,
हिन्दू की राम-राम से मुसलमान की सलाम तक,
भाईचारे के नाम पर हुए जो कत्लेआम तक,
जिस लड़ाई को हमने कभी चुना ही नहीं वो लड़नी है हमें अनंत-काल तक,
फिर सोचता हूँ -
नफरत का ये सिलसिला होगा शायद कल शाम तक,
भक्त हूँ महाकाल का लिखूंगा मैं भी सच्चाई आखिरी साँस तक।

I wonder what makes people to
question a wounded man's belief
before giving him a hand ?

I hear my people debate about
their theology.

I then wrapped my stomach
with divers colors of cloth
to stop the desire to eat.

I still feel the discomfort
in lack of food.

And now, what could I
whisper about ??

If wars happen in the name of god
won't the people discern that they may
destroy themselves ??

If this universe emerge as human free.
Won't the people fathom that their
lords bite their dust with people
without their devotees ??

While the secularism
I learned through books
stay fresh and speak the same after years,
few of my people who read that
got sundried and march
unalike after ages.

लकीर के फ़कीरों का हस्र बुरा होता है।
ग़र आँखें हो खुलीं तो दिख ही जाता है।
धर्म भी बदल जाता है वक्त नाज़ुक देखकर,
जो बदलता नहीं खुद को, आख़िर टूट जाता है।

mixed faith people to
find harmony on same land ?

Yes, It's possible !
