He drew a circle around me, said stand within that and love me. Not too much. Not too less.

He built a wall around me, said don't try to jump off. I will make a small window in case you want to breath.

He stripped me off my desires, wants, dreams, needs to accommodate his.

Every time I try raising my voice,he kissed to silence me. He said;I like it quiet girl.

Each time I called him, he was busy. Every time I texted him, my messages were unread. He said, don't be like other chicks! Was it a metaphor when he said he loves eating chicken boneless! Did he mean spineless, I wonder.

He put me in a matchbox and tossed it in his pocket along with a keychain,condoms,few coins, an old tollgate ticket and a used tissue paper with a girl's phone number with nine digits.

He said; women like you are rare.
Maybe he wants to keep me as a souvenir, as memory, as something he visited once to brag about to his friends.

Maybe, when he dies. Someone will toss the souvenir in his coffin. Who knows! For posterity maybe.

Forgetful Posterity

I never had the chance
To write or send a letter
Or to call the older ones
A recollection of memories.

I belong to the new era
The era of erasable texts,
Delete for everyone options,
Where we delete complete conversations.

Because we try to break copper chains
But the golden gives illusion of jewellery
Hence confining us since ever,eternally
So let us make the posterity aware
Even the good can bind you. Beware!

No more shadows, or hinging on single stories,
Write your own story everytime.
Don't stop fighting for what's right.
Be a true hero in your own way.
Live life like it's a song, just sing along,
It's alright if things go wrong.
Against all odds stand for humanity.
No doctrine or religion that destroys humanity is true.
To be right and destroy another is not worth the stress.
To be a true hero, you must be selfless.

It's gloom for ourselves,
For what we are toiling,
Is about to culminate,
And the graph of growth is about to wane,
It's a plight of our dream,
Lockdown is a big tyranny,
And the year 2020 is a big smear in humans life.

Everyone wants to get rid of as fast as they can,
But this deceitful Covid-19,
Always comes with a new mask,
To show a cynical image of our society,
People are now ambiguous,
Because hunger becoming rambunctious,
And penny is about to end,

It's a big prevarication to ourselves,
To have a euphemistic dream,
This catastrophe and portentous year about to end,
We are not aloof if we procrastinate,
Our posterity recall us into tears,
Because we will give them a smear future.

FORGETTING IS LONG..


Let me capture you in my eyes,

Your love in my heart,

The emotions all colour my veins,

For love is short my dear,

Let me embrace you till eternity,

Keep loving till posterity,

Before my mind takes over

And I forget; as forgetting is long!!
