To lend me as many rain clouds
As it can, cause this sweltering
Summer is melting off my skin
Into a puddle of worries n' sweat

To motivate my mind with the tune
Of its waves, cause my mind needs
To be reassured of losses in life and
How they return it at the right time

अब कुछ लगे बुरा, तो चुप रह जाती हूँ...
कुछ उम्मीदों को बक्से में कैद कर जाती हूँ।

कई सवाल उठते हैँ ज़हन में...
फिर भी अब नम रह जाती हूँ।

जो अपने फिर भी ना समझे ये खामोशी...
पलकें झुका अब बस मुस्कुरा जाती हूँ।

हिंदी में लिखने की कोशिश
शायद तुम्हारे सवालों का जवाब देती है।

रंगीन आसमां को निहारना
और समुद्र तट पर अपनी जीवनी बाटना ,
आज भी हमारा इंतजार करते हैं।

Postcards, very handy way of sharing places of our whereabouts.
Those were the days not all can owned a camera.
Exchanging photos were very costly.
Scribbling a few good lines and stem on it was the cheapest.
Easily available anywhere
It was a pride for communication once upon a time.

चल....
दोस्ती का जहाँ फिर से बनाते हैं..
उन ऊचें आसमानों को
छूने के सपने फिर से सजाते हैं।

कुछ कदम साथ चल,
अब ना डगमगाऐगें..

कभी तुम रूठ जाना
कभी हम रूठ जाएंगे..

पर इस बार
एक दूजे को हर दफा मनाएंगे।

उन सुनहरे बादलों को देख
साथ हम मुस्कुराएगें..
स्टेशन पर वो अतरंगी भाषा सुन ,
एक दूजे को देख हँस जाएंगे।

अपनी दोस्ती की "canvas " में
कुछ ऐसा रंग लगाएंगे..

जो अनेक शब्द ना कह पाए ,
वो हमारे रंग ही कह जाएंगे।

क्यों इतना तुम घबराती हो
जो लगे बुरा किसी को
तो कहने से क्यों सकुचाती हो
करना अपने मन से,
सही जो लगता तुम को
बस....
उम्मीदों को उड़ान भरने देना
अपने हर अरमान को बढ़ने देना
बक्से में कैद रहे न देना किसी इच्छा को
क्योंकि
नम आंखों को भी यहाँ
कमज़ोरी ही समझा जाता है
जब खामोशी को ही
मौन स्वकृति का नाम दे दिया जाता है ।

हैं नहीं वो जान ने के हकदार तुम को
जो इतने सवाल उठाते हैं
एक तुम्हारी मुस्कान पर
तुम्हारी पहचान पर

आओगी इस पार तो
मिलवाऊंगा
तुम्हें नित नए जहान से ।
