Dried flowers harvesting insects
As they feed upon my desert ,

into a war zone

Beauty even in trembling hands
Fighting the demons, reprimand.

Scratched skin, teared apart.
Unfathomable to the world
Vulnerable if touched.

With a heavy heart, I inked the scars
painted flowers and little butterflies.
One day my flower will ripe into fruits
Their existence will mark victory
against the sinner eyes
marking my abilities.

Beautiful art
or ashamed me?
Time heals all
Pain manifested into cicatrix.

Tell me about what I lack.
The hallucinating minds
Beauty fortifying,
Tell me what you carry
for the world to stare at you, dauntless.
Give me reasons enough to say
Your beauty is what poets lay
Ink and quill does its best play.
