It is an enthusiastic season,
A thrilling amusement to children,
La! That's quite beautiful monsoon,
Glorified by paper boat festoon.

Kids leap onto pleasure puddles,
Marking all crazy pluviophile symbols,
Floating their crafts of fondles,
Enjoying those moments of gambols.

Best loved of childhood reminiscence,
Pretty rainfall play bonding cherish,
Letting heaps of hope effervescence,
Amidst naive mind to flourish.

Downpour fun is a choice,
For people knowing its rejoice.

So far yet just beside me
you stay with me while I sleep.
I watch you through the window
sharing unsaid, something unknown.
Wrapped in the blanket of your serenity
resting on the pillow of your beauty,
I yearn to gleam bright
just like you illuminate the night.

I stare at your scars
and fall in love with mine.
The stars surround you
and the sight feels so divine.
I keep smiling at you
while you sing me lullaby.

Somedays you hide behind the clouds
leaving me upset and restless.
I wait for you all day,
the moment you show up my heart flutters.

I see the heavy rainfall & realise my heart feels the same. Just like the clouds, I too am desperate to shed the baggage I've been carrying.

Rain agrees to become my companion in this endless night of loneliness & I agree to take it all out, out of my heart through my eyes.

Rain isn't always sad for me but tonight is different; everything has gone beyond my temper & just like the clouds, I won't stay heavy anymore..!!

The rumble of its suffering
The agony when it rains

The thunder when its storming
Showing the fall of his day
The storm rising higher with
every Shades of grey

I reach my hand out
seeing the pouring  rain
I feel the sky crying
As I walk in the rain

Sometimes, all you need is the sound of heavy inincessant rain to reassemble the scribbled parts of that lost you because it is only the rain that knows how to make you drenched but still not get drowned.
