हमारे दुश्मनों से वो आजकल
हमे हराने की बात करते हैं,
मुझे हसी आ रही इस बात पर,
वो समंदर से तेल को डुबाने की बात करते हैं.

एक दिया अपने आपमें
बाती और तेल को ऐसे समा कर रखती हैं
जब तक दोनो पूर्ण रुप से न जल जाए
न तेल को बाती के बूझ जाने गम रहता हैं
न बाती को तेल खत्म हो जाने का गम रहता हैं
अकेले रह जाता हैं तो वो दिया
जो तेल और बाती को सम्हाले रखता हैं

been metal,
I would have rusted seeing
the images of those memories
again and again being the splash
of joy but working as acid
on me.
I am withering away
in a hope that
somewhere
there is still hope
left for us,
someday you will come
and complete the image
which has been my solo
since eternity now.
Someday,
you will save me
my dear friend
from getting rusted
and wasted.
Someday you will
come and complete me again and
protect me just like Oil protects metal.
