I am a girl and I am saying this- *We, don't need Women's Day. Yes, we don't.*

If you treat us right with equality, dignity and love all 365days we really don't need one.


And if you don't, then again, it's very sweet of you Buddy but there is no need to celebrate it enthusiastically by updating stories JUST for one single day (24hrs).

We keep saying,
empower women,
give them responsibility,
give them equality,
give them power,
give them security,
while all we have to do
is, give them freedom,
so that they can
empower themselves.

Women's day is here,
one more time, we all are talking about their roles and importance in our lives.
one more time, we are saying "If there were no women there would have been no life."
one more time, we are talking about empowering them.
one more time, we are praising and appreciating them.
one more time, we are dedicating posts to them.
but the question is,
are we giving them the respect on the remaining 364 days?
are we giving time to them on those remaining days?
why are we celebrating women's day on a single day?
why not everyday?

this world wouldn't have witnessed the first cry of a child..!!

...Is a girl with 44 years of experience...

we all will sing
the same song,
the same line
in the same tone.
"EMPOWER WOMEN.
If there were no women,
how will you even be
in this world to say
anything at all?
Respect them.
Love them.
Give them the right to choose.
Be proud to have them.
Be proud of their choices.
Be proud that YOU ARE A WOMAN."
But then
that's what the problem is.
One more time
we will sing the same
for one day,
and then
all these words
wil lose their meaning
one more time,
like everytime.
