The moon looks big and brighter in a winter night,
But I've seen windows getting shut at eight!
Friendships are made on a bonfire,
But I've seen people avoiding eyecontacts in daylight!
Bondings are made to be around in the dark times,
But I've seen people around you only at times you're happy.
Parties are an extension and not the only option,
But I've seen people present only on rum and whiskey nights.
People meet in the evening with conversations of the day,
But I've seen conversations ending only until the cigarette lights!
'This is life' the words echo from the spent hazy night,
Then you wake up, the night is gone and so are they.

In the raw silence of the dawn,
when the world sleeps
yet stays awake sometimes
she dwells in the odd hour
amidst her thoughts and dilemmas
that run on her mind.
When the first ray of sun
hits her eye lids at last
is the time when she finally
finds herself in the lap of sleep
after another insomniac night.

Without any unweary thoughts,
