पीने को तो हम कुछ भी पी ले ,
लेकिन हमे तो दोस्तो के साथ
"कम पानी " वाली "रम" ही चाहिए.....

dressed in proper uniform

necks outstretched
waiting like me

doodling food and gadgets
waiting like me

Writing " I missed you mum and dad"
waiting like me

Chewing on nails
waiting like me

" Did my parents forget today is the night-out?"

" Did Papa's flight get cancelled?"

" Did I imagine my parents saying that they would come?"

Very few have known this kind of irrational,
very few have felt this kind of tension-knot,
building like bricks as long as we wait
for a night of love, dinner and freedom.

She- "can I pull the car to a side?"
He- "keep driving, enjoy the ride."
She- "my eyes are being drowsed."
He- "my fingers have just browsed!"
She- "Is it a punishment or tease?"
He- "will stop if you say please."
She- "please stop, I'm begging."
He- "this please is another beginning."
