Cramps in her gut but Saree on point,
She stood in the queue for Pushpanjali.
Maa, standing beside, rolled her eyes-
'Is it the fourth day?'
She winked and grinned,
'No. But a New day.'

The Maa by her side hoped no one heard them.
The Maa in front of her, smiled the same.
