रातों को नींदों के साथ सपने न देना,
आँखों को ख्वाबों के साथ आँसू न देना;

लबों को लफ़्ज़ों के साथ खामोशी न देना,
दिल को धड़कनों के साथ उम्मीदें न देना;

हवाओं को गति के साथ एक ठहराव न देना,
बंजर जमीं को एक बारिश बाढ़ जैसी न देना;

चाँद को अमावस की सिर्फ एक रात न देना,
सूरज को दिन में बस ताप न देना;

ए खुदा!
हो सके तो एक ज़िंदगी...
इन ख्वाहिशों को नज़रों में रख कर देना।।

How high can you fly
When your wings are broken and winds are strong

How hard can you fight
When your knuckles are sore and every move is wrong

How far can you go
When your knees are weak and journey is long

How fast can you heal
When wounds are deeper and scars lifelong

You may be doing your best right now but in the end
It matters how good you do where you don't belong

Sometimes life puts you in adverse situations
Do not lose hope, Be brave and Hang On!

ख्याल खुद नही बदलते, वक्त बदल देता है
वो बेजुबानों के अल्फाजों में भी हलचल देता है
सब जरूरतों से ही रखते हैं वास्ता आजकल
बिना मतलब के अब कौन किसी को एक पल देता है

Smiling from within
Is never easy
When you are broken
Never to be mended again.

You can still recollect that first conversation
You can still sense that first touch
You have that moment saved in your bones
But still...
You cannot feel it like you felt it for the first time
The first taste of love

She was swinging as high as she can to get the best view of him. He was standing at the other end of the playground. From this distance she could not see his face clearly, but she certainly knew that he was watching her.
She never visited this playground before. His face reflected a yellow smiley and her cheeks would turn pink every time she swung upwards.
She was six when she first saw him.
Her joy was soon deconstructed when she saw him walking away, his smiley face started to sublimate. She was swinging even higher now to get last possible glimpse of him.
It was her last day of summer vacation at her cousin's place. She was swinging till night hoping that he would come back. The time she waited that evening was equivalent to the time she had to wait until next summer, to see him again.
