लिखना पसंद है, पर तुम्हे लिख पाना मेरे बस की नहीं,
कोशिश तो बहुत की मैंने पर शायद मेरे पास लफ्ज़ ही नहीं।।

बारिश की बूंद जब किसी पते पर गिरती है तो ,
पता इस बात का बूरा नहीं मानता कि वो भीग गया ,
बल्कि वो खुश होता है कि उस मोती ने धरती पर आते ही उसे सबसे पहले चुना है ,
वैसे ही मुसीबत कोई भी आए हस कर उसका सामना करना चाहिए।

लोग अक्सर कहते हैं,शायरी करती हो,
फ़िर भी मोहबब्त नहीं करना चाहतीं,
अब उन्हें क्या बताऊं,अपनों के ज़ख्मों से पहले
ही टूटी हुई हूं,इश्क़ करके बिखरना नहीं चाहती।

Writing makes me feel,

my breath that exists on this earth
is worth all the scribbles of my soul &
even after the tales turn out to be old
its droplets become pearls that I wrote !

I learned and once I started to read,
I became quite a fond reader,
Even though I could not make meaning, 
but still a little book devourer.

My grandfather was the very first
to recognise my budding passion,
On every visit he gifted me new
books with same compassion.
