When I bide my time all alone
inside my cocoon,
in complete darkness
as an ugly caterpillar,
isolated and uncared for,
not seeing the light of the day
and not knowing
if light even existed,
that’s when something
unforeseen happened,
transforming me
into a beautiful butterfly,
a takeaway,
that came at a price
of much pain and struggle,
for none can have it
perfect in this imperfect world!-

Petals are the people around ,
As the girl grows ,
One by one everyone leaves her,
Just like the Petals of a flower.
And when all the Petals fall,
The girl is all alone !
She can't let her past ,stop her.
But her mind pester while stepping forward ,
But once a girl makes her loneliness her strength,
She wins the race !-

Seasons change as we do with each one
Each of us deals with them as they’re done
All our lives we’ll see changes come an go
Silently as they pass our knowledge will grow
Our lives depend on these changes each year
New affects happen as each one comes near
Some bring heartache but some bring cheer
Life throws me my poetry ideas
Whenever I think I am out of subjects,
She gives me something new to write about.
This time it is shingles.
Life, you do not have to go that far.
I would have settled for a small summer cold,
hay fever, or another allergy,
even my go-to- ailments in life-
