I didn't remember you at all
even though I walked the streets you did for years
I once cherished being where you have been because you were never next to me
I used to think I'd follow the trail of who you used to be and I'd find you
But now
Your name didn't cross my path nor my mind
My tongue has forgotten how to pronounce your name
