A man isn't allowed to cry
Why? Isn't he a human?
Is his heart made of stone?
Weird the world is
And is getting weirder day by day
I don't understand the logic
Of not letting a man let out his emotions
Let him be free from all the barriers
Like how we are allowed to be ourselves
Why over-burden them with the tag
'Men don't cry'

A Man or A Boy is not supposed to Cry.
He is Not supposed to be weak.
He should Face and Fight things throughout his life.

But this is exhausting.
Some things take away stamina from
the poor fella too early in his life.

If such Stereotypes are Broken,
Many Men Won't Die.

But He wasn't allowed to accept things as they are,
to rest, to be at peace.

mammary glands, lacrimal glands also would have been rudimentary

मर्द होना भी आसान नही होता
हर दर्द को चुप सह जाना आसान नही होता
यूं हर वक्त खुद को सख्त दिखा कर
हर गम छुपा लेना आसान नही होता
न भी लगे मन उसका काम पर
जरूरतों के आगे हार कर काम पर जाना आसान नही होता
भूख मिटा सबकी घर में
खुद भूखे पेट सो जाना आसान नही होता
अपना तन खाली कर
परिवार को ढ़कना आसान नही होता
जो मन भारी भी हो अगर उसका
सन्नाटे में अश्क बहाना आसान नही होता
सबकी जरूरतें पूरी कर
खुद को ही भूल जाना आसान नही होता
वो मर्द है , दर्द उसे भी होता है
एक कोने में सबकी नज़रों से बच कर वो भी रोता है
हर वक्त अपनी कोमलता को छुपा कर
खुद को कठोर दिखाना आसान नही होता।

Sitting in a corner,
I quietly watch him.
I know that...
He is suffering,
He is in pain.

I have not seen
A tear rolling down his eyes
When you look at him
You feel everything is fine.

Because this is what men are taught
To not shed a tear
And appear fine
All the time.

कभी गुनेहगार तो कभी बेकसूर होता है
कभी हस्ता है तो कभी रोता भी है
असली मर्द वो है जिसे दर्द होता है
