That we endeavor to hide;
Because, each person tends
To put his best foot forward--
Either to impress someone else
Or to lessen the risk of rejection.
Thus, the naked truth lurks
Behind the beauteous halo;
Albeit, most of us prefer
The coruscating, shallow visage;
Hence, we cease unravelling
The veiled, screaming silence
That may signify cognition
Of the unabridged masterwork--
The real human being
Who's been made robotic
By this bandwagon-like society.
