तुम्हें खोने का डर , कल रात मेरे सपने में आ पहुॅंचा ,बढ़ी हुई धड़कनों के साथ, जब नींद से उठ कर, सिरहाने तुम्हें पाया, तो एक मुस्कुराहट थी होठों पर , थोड़ी घबराहट ओढ़े। तुम्हें सुकून से सोता देख कर दिल ने मुझे समझाया कि इस इश्क की कहानी हमने कभी न मिटने वाली स्याही से रची है। और इस कहानी का मेरा साथी मेरी हर कहानी में मेरे साथ रहेगा।

losing you raped my soul
every night and tormented
me to such an extent which
can't be described by using
mere metaphors and similies
as it was out of anyone's
poetic imagination leading
to shrill cries and wet pillow
everytime I went to sleep.
