आज से ठीक 75 वर्ष पहले, मनुष्यता के इतिहास के सबसे काले दिनों में से एक, जापान के हिरोशिमा नगर पर अमेरिका द्वारा परमाणु बम से हमला। हमारी परम्परा के बड़े, 'अज्ञेय' जी ने उस दिन और उस दिन के बाद के हालात पर यह कविता लिखी - 'हिरोशिमा। आइये ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करें कि मनुष्यता को दोबारा ऐसा कुछ न देखना पड़े।🙏🙏

കണ്ണിലും മനസ്സിലും
നിഷ്കളകതയുള്ള
ഒരു കൂട്ടം കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയടക്കം
ചാമ്പലാക്കിയ ഇന്നും കറുത്ത
ദിനങ്ങൾ സമ്മാനിച്ചു
കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന 'ചെറിയ കുട്ടി'
എന്ന ശാപം.

It was 6th August 1945,
the sun shined brighter,
the cock crowed.
People getting ready for work,
It was a normal day
for everyone at Hiroshima.
Something strange took place!

It was at 08:15 am,
and there was an EXPLOSION!
A planned one indeed.
The fire was so massive that,
the entire city was into ashes.

Children crying out for help,
innocent people dying....
but all they wanted was a WAR.
Wanted Japan to surrender,
a sacrifice which took away souls.
And this is JUSTIFIED in HISTORY!!

A little boy said, by seeing the caged parrot...
" I like to find this bird's mom to keep company with it"
Even the innocent child know, Mother is the best soul to safeguard.

Packed lunch in his tiffin
Clothes nice and neat
They aren't rich
But, there's shoes on his feet

A kiss on his cheek
The boy leaves for the day
The mother is proud
Tears wiped away

They don't have much
They do all they can
So the little boy
Will become a great man.

The little boy felt the happiest and proudest, when he was able to catch the ball.

अपनी खुशियां खो दी है ना....
शायद इसलिए सबको हंसाने लगे हैं.....
