When I was 13, I wish my mother had told me that
1. It's okay to fail sometimes because I would love you no matter what.
2. It's okay to be different because uniqueness is an asset, not a liability.
3. Believe in yourself. You are precious just the way you are. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
4. It's okay to not follow the norms. Make your own identity, away from status quo, just for you.
5. We are born alone and we will die alone. If others are in your picture, it's complementary goods not the main course.
6. Never feel rattled to be a woman in a man's world. You are an equal and as deserving of all the perks. Never let anything bring you down.
7. And most importantly, be you unapologetically.
