Sometimes I wonder if in future we will have
external storage devices for memories and emotions
as well.

Behind her smile,
Was a guilt that ran deep.
She knew she wasn't going to be forgiven
For the promises she failed to keep.

I've heard promises of love all my life.
But I don't understand what that meant.

Following you, sometimes chasing after you.
Only thing in my vision was the back of your head.
Your eyes when you stared at someone far off.
Chasing and being chased, being the two sides of the same coin,
flipped from time to time.
You'd never look behind,
Never on the path you've already walked.
You'd say, "Memories are ghosts.
They're there, before you, but never within your reach."
But what was I then?
A forgotten existence? Or a broken doll
Who could not even serve their only purpose?
You and I are the same, though.
You were also chasing after someone.
You were my dream, my hope, my life,
And now you're gone, forever,
Leaving a gaping hole within me.
Your soul's touch still lingers in my heart...
And your body lays beneath the ground.
Now I don't know where to go.
For all I ever was, a follower,
And now a lost soul.

I talk a lot,
But never reveal myself.
Maybe that's how I developed the habit
Of reading between the lines.

One day, when we run out of all the 'tomorrows', we will wish we had done this sooner.

हम उनके ख्वाब देखते रहे।
