You wait for a moon rise every dusk, I die a sun set every twilight. You wait for an unknown saga of a chaste to begin, I witness the venture of a prophet end. Just like today, unlike today.
Today you walked across the beach, scarring the sandy shore- calmly, beautifully. I followed your steps. You stopped. I stopped. The waves washed our feet. I saw the little sand particles getting washed away. I saw the differences getting washed away. You looked at the sun set, I looked at the rising moon. The sun set lived today, moon rise died. Moon and Sun were together. Death and life lived together. Just like you and me. On this twilight. Together. As friends. Just friends.
