Only I could be fragile glass about to break
To my bed and pillow held under this weight
Until I reminded myself that what I feel is fake.

Everything was paused for seconds,
I closed my eyes to feel this moment,
And what I saw is unspoken...!!!

Standing nude infront of the mirror;
I drapped her stripped red attire, left;
Smearing her red lipstick partial;
Finished off with that touch of middle finger;
laden hue of red vermillion;
making me loose thus
my remaining manish demeanor;
though never near her feminine charm, ever.

realised I then;
was I never ever outside her;
Always was I, contained within Her.

The very first letter
I gave you,
in a world of texts and mails.

was wrong in the world...

I was right there when people stoned a man to death for being a transgender like me.

I was right there with you standing on the railway station. Like you and me, many couples and families were waiting for the train and bidding goodbyes to their soldiers. It was 9:30 pm then, the month of December. The fog, the chilling wind and that blinking lamp were giving the suitable pace to that sentimental environment we were in. I was happy at the fact that the train was half an hour late. So that I could spend some more time in the safest place, in your arms. I'm not selfish. It was the most precious time we ever had. If train had reached at the exact time, I would have not uttered those positive words at last what might have made you feel secure and strongest about me.

Train boarded at 10:00 PM!

When the 🐒 monkey,
grabbed my bag,
had a good peep,
and threw it away in disgust...!

I was left feeling humiliated,
at its rejection...

I wish I had some fruit to have earned its respect...

Rejection hurts...be it a monkey or a man !
