I'm afraid of the light
because it tore apart my
real self and pressurised
me to look fake everytime

I'm afraid of the light
because it made me conscious
of being watched and judged
by a group of hypocrites

I'm afraid of the light
because it brought out my
vulnerabilities and made a joke
out of it in front of people

I'm afraid of the light
because it revealed my secrets
and that's where the darkness
provided a refuge to my feeble heart

Mystery
While

Into
The
Dearest
Wishes

because repeated breach
