मैं चाहता हूँ की तुम्हारी किस्मत कभी भी मेरी किस्मत जैसी ना हो,
क्योंकि मैं चाहता हूँ के तुम्हे वो सब मिले जो तुम दिल से चाहती हो।

She felt like the last rays of sunshine,
Unknowingly brightening up my life,
as if she were just a lone street light.
We were maybe as distant,
As the tongue and the elbow.
Apparently close, yet never touching each other.
Did she really never understand my love for her?
Etched through the lines of poems,
Like the subtle strings of time.
Her presence felt like rusted nails on my heart.
Piercing it, aching like the helpless days of exams,
Yet feeling as if removing them will bleed me to death.

I often wonder, squinting at the night sky,
what I don't have; for which she never liked me,
Maybe I should ask myself what I do have,
For her to like me...

मत कर कोशिशें ख़ुश रहने की
तैयार कर स्वयं को सुख के ही सफ़र में
आने वाले दुख का सामना करने के लिए बेबाक होकर,
हर ख़ुशी को समझ ख़ुश हवाओं का सानिध्य,
और हर दुःख को समझ
आने वाली ख़ुशियों से पहले का मात्र एक पल,
मत कर कोशिशें समय को बांधने की,
क्योंकि जिसने समय को बांधना चाहा,
समय ने उसे ही हालात में जकड़ डाला,
खुल कर जी हर लम्हा,उत्सव मना ज़िन्दगी का
और डूब जा जीवंत क्रीड़ाओं के जश्न में,
मत ढूंढ कोई भी वजह जीने की
के तेरे जीने की वजह ख़ुद तेरे अरमान हैं,
पलकें झुका, बंद कर आँखें, ज़रा सा दिल के पास ला,
जिसे तू ढूँढे, वो तो तेरे हृदय में ही विराजमान है।।
मेरे मन !! ज़रा ध्यान से सुन !!!
